Regulation combined with proper licensing, enforcement and proven safety controls as required under the Internet Gambling and Enforcement Act of 2007 would establish a framework to block children and compulsive gamblers from gambling online. The bill would also ensure the security of Internet gambling transactions and protect against money laundering, fraud, and identity theft.
